Tiger Pistol, Inc. (Tiger Pistol or we) respects the right of individuals to have the privacy of their personal information. We place the highest priority on protecting the privacy of the End Advertisers (“End Advertiser”) of our social advertising platform, the business entities with whom Tiger Pistol has a service agreement in place (“Clients”), as well as others who visit our website (“Visitors”). Tiger Pistol’s social advertising platform and website are not intended for use by children under 13. This Privacy Policy describes the collection, use, security, and disclosure of information that we receive from the Client, End Advertisers of our advertising platform, and the Visitors to our company website, tigerpistol.com (“Website”). With your consent, when you visit or register as a user on our platform and/or our website, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Please note that the posted Terms of Use and Agreements specific to a Tiger Pistol service (“Service Agreement”) may contain other terms that deal specifically with a Client’s confidential information.

1. How does Tiger Pistol Collect Personal Information?

We do not collect and/or process end advertisers’ personal information beyond what is required for the functioning of our advertising platform and performance of service agreements. We collect user information in the following methods:

1.1 Provided by the Clients: Clients with a service agreement with Tiger Pistol provide user information directly. Legal basis for Tiger Pistol data processing is for the performance of contract. Data collection consents are obtained by the Client.

1.2 Provided by the End Advertisers: End Advertisers, as part of the service provided by the associated Client, provide their information. Tiger Pistol collects user consent at the time of data collection.    

1.3 Provided by the Visitors: Visitors to our website provide their information.  Tiger Pistol collects user consent at the time of data collection. 

2. What Personal Information About Me does Tiger Pistol Hold?

2.1 Contact Information: Tiger Pistol collects your contact information, such as your email address, first name, last name, name of your business or your employer’s business, phone number, job title, business email address, physical address. Your contact information will be used for the purposes for which you provided it and may also be added to Tiger Pistol’s marketing mailing list for the purposes of direct marketing to you by email if you consent to receive such emails. Please refer to 4.4 Opting Out of Marketing Communication section if you wish to opt out of receiving marketing emails in the future.  

2.2 Tracking Technologies

2.2.1 Cookies: You can access our home page and browse our Website without disclosing your personal information. However, you may be required to provide your personal information if you wish to access certain features of the Website. The Website uses persistent cookies to make using this Website an easy experience. For example, persistent cookies are used to remember you when you next visit the Website. Persistent cookies are stored in your internet browser cookies cache and may be retrieved by the Website next time you visit the Website. Cookies collect information about you, including your habits when accessing the Website and any information provided in customizing the Website. However, per-session cookies do not give the Website access to anything else on your computer. Only the Website which issued the cookie may retrieve it. Persistent cookies are cached by your internet browser, and you may delete the cookies from your cache through the security or privacy settings of your internet browser.

We provide you an opportunity to consent to cookie information collection when you first visit our Website. You can prevent this collection of information by setting your internet browser to not accept cookies. This will not prevent you from accessing the Website, however, it may prevent you from utilizing all the features of the Website.

2.2.2 Web Beacons: Tiger Pistol uses web beacons that help better manage content on the Website by informing Tiger Pistol what content is effective. Web beacons, also known as gifs, are electronic images that may be used on the Website or in our emails. A web beacon may be used on the Website to collect information, deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness, or in our emails to tell if an email has been opened and acted upon.

2.2.3 IT Addresses: Our Website and services include social media features, such as the Facebook “Like” button and widgets, the “Share This” button, or interactive mini-programs that run on our Website. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Website, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly.  Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Website. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

2.2.4 General: In addition to the above, Tiger Pistol may hold the following information about you:

  • 2.2.4.1 Details of products and services that you have purchased from us
  • 2.2.4.2 Any other information you provide to us, including feedback, suggestions, and complaints (whether orally, by mail, email, or online)

2.2.5 Collection from Third Parties: Tiger Pistol collects your personal information directly from the End Advertisers or Clients. Tiger Pistol collects your Facebook Page Name, ID, and Token. If at any time another person provides personal information about you to us, we will collect a consent when we first contact you.

2.2.6 Referral of Friends: If you elect to forward an email from Tiger Pistol to a friend, or share an email with a friend, Tiger Pistol will require your friend’s email address. Tiger Pistol will store and use this information solely for the purpose of sending this email on your behalf.  We will collect a consent when we first contact your friend.

Anonymity: You are not obliged to provide us with your personal information. However, if you do not supply us with your personal information, we may be unable to process your order for products or services or to respond to your queries.

3. What does Tiger Pistol do with My Personal Information?

3.1 Purpose of Use and Disclosure: We do not sell your personal information. We collect, use, and disclose personal information about you for the following purposes:

  • To provide you with our services that you requested 
  • To respond to your queries
  • To research, develop, and improve our products and services
  • To keep you up-to-date with services or products that may be of interest to you (with your consent) 
  • To meet our internal administrative and planning requirements
  • To compile and report statistics, with all the relevant personal information de-identified prior to the completion of such statistics 
  • To administer the Website and analyses use of the Website 
  • To comply with the law
  • For purposes that are expressly permitted under any agreement with you or where it is necessary to comply with the law  

3.2 Potential Recipients of Personal Information: The types of organizations we may disclose your information to are:

  • (on a confidential basis) Agents and other providers that we use in the ordinary operation of our business such as Facebook and Instagram, such as for credit card processing 
  • Organization contracted to provide administrative services, such as email service providers

If we outsource administrative services involving your personal information, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that our third-party service providers handle your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy

3.3 Location: Tiger Pistol and its third-party service providers may hold your personal information in a country outside of EU territories. We only store with third-party providers who comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. 

3.4 Third-Party Relationship 

3.4.1 Third-Party Providers: Tiger Pistol has relationships with various third-party providers to maintain and provide services to Tiger Pistol. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality agreements that protect the privacy of the End Advertisers. They must utilize information solely for providing services on behalf of Tiger Pistol and are bound to keep any personally identifiable information they receive secure. Tiger Pistol does not sell or trade personally identifiable information with third parties. If Tiger Pistol shares any personal information with any of these third parties, we will require that such information be used only to provide the services requested by Tiger Pistol. Tiger Pistol requires our service providers to whom we disclose Personal Information, and who are not subject to the laws based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or Swiss Federal Data Protection law to either (i) subscribe to the EU-US Privacy Shield principles, or (ii) contractually agree to provide at least the same level of protection for Personal Information as is required by the relevant GDPR requirements. 

3.4.2 Frames: Some of our pages utilize framing techniques to serve content from our partners while preserving the look and feel of our Website and services. Please be aware that you are providing your personal information to these third parties subject to their applicable terms and conditions and not to Tiger Pistol. Example is Stripe payment system.

3.4.3 Links: We also provide links to other websites maintained by third parties unrelated to Tiger Pistol. Please be aware that if you link to another third-party website, that website is not subject to Tiger Pistol’s Privacy Policy, and Tiger Pistol has no control over the use of information disclosed on such websites. Tiger Pistol is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other websites. Tiger Pistol encourages its End Advertisers and Visitors to be aware when they leave the Website and services, and suggests that End Advertisers and Visitors read the privacy policies of each website visited.

4. How Can I Access and Correct My Information?

4.1 Access: If we collect your personal information, you have the right to request access to your personal information. You may request access to personal information we hold about you by contacting Tiger Pistol’s Privacy Officer as set out below. Where we hold information that you are entitled to access, we will endeavor to provide you with a suitable range of choices as to how you access it (e.g. emailing or mailing it to you).

4.2 Correction: Tiger Pistol endeavors to keep personal information up-to-date and accurate. If you believe there are factual errors in your personal information we hold, you can contact Tiger Pistol’s Privacy Officer as set out below and detail the inaccurate information. We will verify and correct any factual errors within thirty days. 

4.3 Deletion: End Advertisers have the right to request that their information be deleted by contacting Tiger Pistol’s Privacy Officer as set out below. Information will be deleted within thirty days. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information, contact Tiger Pistol’s Privacy Officer as set out below.  We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with your legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreement.

4.4 Opting Out of Marketing Communication: End Advertisers and Visitors who previously consented to receive the marketing communication but no longer wish to receive it can opt out of the communication by following the instructions included in each communication or by contacting Tiger Pistol’s Privacy Officer as set out below. Please indicate on your request whether you wish to opt out of either, or both, postal and electronic marketing communications.

4.5. 5. How About Security?

Tiger Pistol and its third-party providers hosting Tiger Pistol information have implemented extensive security measures to help protect against the risk of loss, misuse, and alteration of any personal information, including using encryption, limiting employee access, and using industry-standard controls such as firewalls and secure environments. If you use a password on the Website, you are responsible for ensuring it remains confidential. Do not share your password with any person and change it immediately if you suspect misuse. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our information practices. When we do, we will also revise the “last updated” date at the beginning of the policy. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by means of a notice on this website.  Changes to the Privacy Policy will be effective upon posting.
